Our Payment Method
CIS Payment Method
Under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), workers are usually paid as self-employed subcontractors, which is common in the UK construction industry. When working through Jobnet24, a percentage of your pay (typically 20% if you are registered) may be deducted and sent directly to HM Revenue and Customs as an advance towards your tax. These deductions are recorded under your name, and you will normally need to complete a Self Assessment tax return each year. CIS allows workers flexibility to work on different projects while managing their own taxes and expenses.
